JAQUEMTB NEWS #9 - 2006

The weekend was very hard, but still positive: I was again the first Latin-american and Brazil already is 19th in the Nations Ranking.
We arrived in Belgium on Thursday, after a long trip coming from France. On Saturday we had an electronic problem with the car (that cost the whole Saturday training and a lot of stress). But after all I am happy that I was able to finish another World Cup (37th place and 113 riders) results
This race was at the Spa-Francochamps Circuit and the start was exactly on the Formula 1 start line. The circuit was very wet and muddy, in some parts, it was impossible to ride on the bike. It was a hard battle, with athletes falling everywhere, lots of bruises and a new tattoo as souvenir on my left leg (a rider lost the control of her bike and hit my leg with her chairing) …
Now back in France, I am recovering and tomorrow already I go to Scotland for the 4th World Cup. (Saturday 27/05/2006)
