JAQUEMTB NEWS #12 - 2006

Everything ready…but unfortunately I had a mechanical problem at the World Cup in Mont Saint Anne – Canada.
A beautiful day, warm, a perfect course, close friends were there to support me and feeling very good and calm. The start was perfect, top 15 at the first lap, but…unfortunately on the first hill of the second lap, my chain got stuck between the cog set and the spokes and the derailleur got wrapped around the chainstay and twisted the dropout and permanently damaged it. The people from Shimano tried hard to fix it, but were not successful.
This never happened with me…but it can happen. Hopping better luck next time. Results at: www.velirium.com
