JAQUEMTB NEWS #1 - 2006

Hello everybody!!!
The MTB 2006 season is only starting but this year already brought a lot of good news…My experience at the Turin Olympic Games was fascinating, I learned a lot in the last month and again I put my name in the brazilian sports history. Thank you all for the cheering, emails and encouragement; it helped me a lot!
After a transition period, we started the specific MTB training preparation.
We fought against the cold weather and rode a lot on the snow.
The 2006 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup cross country season opens in Curaçao on Saturday the April 1st. The high temperatures (over 30 degrees Celsius) will make the race very attractive for a Brazilian and I hope the heat plays on my side.
I am very optimist and physically well prepared. For sure I expect to start the season with the “right foot”.
